  • Colour changes are emitted from the inside of the teeth after root canal treatment.

The higher peroxide ratios of the whitening materials used during the operation make whitening faster. Its permanence is longer. Treatment can last 2-3 sessions, the number of sessions varies depending on the colour change in the tooth.

Treatment stages:

  • Dental stone cleaning and Scaling Procedures are also applied on patients in order to make the treatment more effective before whitening is applied.

  • Before and after the treatment session, photos are taken of the patients and colour determination is made.

  • Before the operation, the gums are closed with a protective barrier in order not to be damaged by whitening materials.

  • Then whitening gel is applied to the teeth. The whitening gel is activated using a UV ray or laser.

  • 2 or 3 periods of the teeth whitening gel are applied in periods of about 15 minutes.

During the session intervals, the patient is asked to avoid colouring drinks such as tea, coffee and wine and is recommended to reduce smoking. During these whitening sessions, sensitivity may occur in the teeth, but this sensitivity is eliminated when special toothpaste is used.
